For this purpose he recorded a song named "Here's Hope" which was available for digital download on the Child Hunger Ends Here official site. He also appeared in a PETA ad campaign, encouraging potential pet owners to adopt from shelters rather than buy from stores.

Famous quotes containing the words community and/or work:

Fortunately art is a community effort—a small but select community living in a spiritualized world endeavoring to interpret the wars and the solitudes of the flesh.
    Allen Ginsberg (b. 1926)

The truth of the thoughts that are here set forth seems to me unassailable and definitive. I therefore believe myself to have found, on all essential points, the final solution of the problems. And if I am not mistaken in this belief, then the second thing in which the value of this work consists is that it shows how little is achieved when these problems are solved.
    Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889–1951)
