Famous quotes containing the words musical and/or equipment:

“I think no woman I have had ever gave me so sweet a moment, or at so light a price, as the moment I owe to a newly heard musical phrase.”
    —Stendhal [Marie Henri Beyle] (1783–1842)

“Biological possibility and desire are not the same as biological need. Women have childbearing equipment. For them to choose not to use the equipment is no more blocking what is instinctive than it is for a man who, muscles or no, chooses not to be a weightlifter.”
    —Betty Rollin (b. 1936)
