Jarron Collins was born in Northridge, California. He and his twin brother Jason graduated from Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles, California, where he was teammates with actor Jason Segel. Jarron shot 72 percent from the floor and averaged 13.8 points and 9.2 rebounds during his senior year in high school, breaking the 31-year California rebounding record with over 1,500.
