Apart from the Jangipur and Dhulian municipalities, the subdivision contains 18 census towns and rural areas of 61 gram panchayats under seven community development blocks: Raghnathganj–I, Raghnathganj–II, Suti–I, Suti–II, Samserganj, Sagardighi and Farakka. The 18 census towns are: Ghorsala, Charka, Srikantabati, Jot Kamal, Sahajadpur, Khodarampur, Fatellapur, Aurangabad, Paschim Punropara, Dafahat, Jagtaj, Anup Nagar, Dhusaripara, Uttar Mahammadpur, Kankuria, Chachanda, Serpur and Farrakka Barrage Township.
