Academic Support
All residents have access to an in-house academic support programme which provides subject tutorials in addition to those regular to a university course. Access to study facilities is provided throughout the semester and during the period just prior to and throughout the university examination period the college enters “Quiet Time”. Quiet Time requires residents to be particularly mindful of their noise levels so that all residents are able to study.

Famous quotes containing the words academic and/or support:
“Being in a family is like being in a play. Each birth order position is like a different part in a play, with distinct and separate characteristics for each part. Therefore, if one sibling has already filled a part, such as the good child, other siblings may feel they have to find other parts to play, such as rebellious child, academic child, athletic child, social child, and so on.”
—Jane Nelson (20th century)
“[They] hired a large house as a receptacle for gentlewomen, who either had no fortunes, or so little that it would not support them. For these they made the most comfortable institution [and] provided [them] with all conveniences for rural amusements, a library, musical instruments, and implements for various works.”
—Sarah Fielding (17101768)
