Greenwood is currently the president and CEO of the Biotechnology Industry Organization (BIO). BIO represents more than 1,200 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers, and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 other nations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of healthcare, agriculture, industrial and environmental biotechnology products.
Greenwood is also a member of the USA Science and Engineering Festival's Advisory Board. Greenwood is also a member of Marine Conservation Biology Institute's Board of Directors.
