The Jack Pine Conference is a high school athletic conference in northern lower Michigan made up of Class B and C schools. The sports involved include: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Wrestling, Volleyball, Track, Cross Country, and Golf. In the 2008 football season, the Clare Pioneers won the Jack Pine Conferences Championship going undefeated in conference. They are also ranked 3rd in the nation in Interceptions in a season by a team, and hold the state record.
