Legacy
Jack Nicklaus 4 was ported to the Apple Macintosh by Eclipse Entertainment. This version of the game was produced by Brad Fregger, who also produced 1998's Jack Nicklaus 5.
Jack Nicklaus 5 would turn out to be the last Jack Nicklaus golf game developed or published by Accolade. The next installment of the series, Jack Nicklaus 6, was released by Activision.
