Jack Frost (Modern)

In modern Marvel continuity, an unrelated, human scientist, Professor Gregor Shapanka, using technological means to generate incapacitating ice which he first planned to use to prolong life, became the supervillain Jack Frost. He was introduced as an antagonist of the superhero Iron Man, as he was a former Stark employee who was fired for attempted robbery, in Tales of Suspense #45 (Sept. 1963). Famous quotes containing the words jack and/or frost:

President Kennedy had a wholesome, widely discussed, and largely deserved reputation for his interest in women.... But no President, however young and energetic, could possibly have gotten around to all the ladies in Washington, New York, and Hollywood who made claim to his affections after he died.... Such was the force of Jack Kennedy and the manner of his death that anyone associated with him, even the pretenders, assumed added glamour and interest.
    Barbara Howar (b. 1934)

One foot in each great ocean
Is a record stride or stretch.
    —Robert Frost (1874–1963)
