Corporate Identity
Jacaranda FM unveiled its new brand identity and payoff line at the 2nd annual Jacaranda Day at Loftus Versfeld - 14 April 2012. The new identity complements the Jacaranda brand - a brand that is locally rooted, globally savvy, music-driven, accessible, trusted, caring and all-round fun.The icon shape and look is inspired by a guitar plectrum, which also looks like a ‘play’ button A “J” has been carved into the plectrum creating a unique signature. The payoff line, “SA’s best mix of the 80’s, 90’s and now” is a statement that undisputedly positions Jacaranda as the foremost radio station in South Africa that plays the best mix of music from the past as well as keeping up with the current hits.

Famous quotes containing the words corporate and/or identity:
“Its hard enough to adjust [to the lack of control] in the beginning, says a corporate vice president and single mother. But then you realize that everything keeps changing, so you never regain control. I was just learning to take care of the belly-button stump, when it fell off. I had just learned to make formula really efficiently, when Sarah stopped using it.”
—Anne C. Weisberg (20th century)
“Every man must define his identity against his mother. If he does not, he just falls back into her and is swallowed up.”
—Camille Paglia (b. 1947)
