2010 Allegation of Discrimination
In November 2010 the Australian press reported on an allegation of discrimination against the school by a former student on the basis of her sexual orientation. A formal complaint was lodged with the Victoria's Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission, though mediation processes associated with that complaint were unsuccessful and the case was dismissed, with no interventions put in place. Citing further stress to the student due to VCE studies the matter was not pursued further.
