Lately, his 1000 PlayThinks published by Workman became a bestseller (which is rare for math and puzzle books). Ivan has embarked on the Mastermind Collection of books with Sterling Publishing. Ivan's newest series BrainMatics will see its first release in the United States May 2009, it will be published by h.f. ullmann and distributed in the US by the Langenscheidt Publishing Group. According to Goodreads, he has published 43 distinct works.

The 2 volumes of Logic Puzzles (BrainMatics) contains numerous errors in both text and illustrations. The error ratio in these books are significantly higher that in most other books on recreative math - on many pages the Ivan demonstrate an complete leak of understanding on the topic. A fair erratum would be a book it self.
