Sequel
Producer Ramesh Taurani is keen on making a sequel to Ishq Vishk. Shahid Kapoor will be returning for the film but the female lead has been given to Priyanka Chopra as opposed to Amrita Rao who played one of the female leads in the first film. Taurani wants Ratna, wife of Anubhav Sinha, to direct Ishq Vishk 2. Shooting for the film is slated to start before Race 2 goes on floors, in which Chopra is playing the lead role opposite Saif Ali Khan.
