TV Reunion Movie
Burr and the main cast reunited for a made-for-TV movie in 1993 which aired not long before Burr's death. Burr was starring in a series of Perry Mason TV movies at the time. In order to make himself look less like the other character, he dyed his hair and modified his full beard to a goatee for the Ironside movie. Unlike the original series, which took place in San Francisco, California, the reunion took place in Denver, Colorado (with the excuse that Ed Brown had become the city's deputy chief of police and being a leading candidate to be appointed chief), which was also where most of the Perry Mason TV movies were produced. Galloway, Mitchell, Anderson and Baur re-created their roles for the movie even though Anderson and Baur had not worked on the original series at the same time.

Famous quotes containing the word movie:
“The talk shows are stuffed full of sufferers who have regained their health—congressmen who suffered through a serious spell of boozing and skirt-chasing, White House aides who were stricken cruelly with overweening ambition, movie stars and baseball players who came down with acute cases of wanting to trash hotel rooms while under the influence of recreational drugs. Most of them have found God, or at least a publisher.”
