Investment Club

An investment club is a group of individuals who meet on a regular basis for the purpose of pooling money and retail investing. The invested sums can be $30 to $100 per month. For certain type of club pooling money is not mandatory. Investment clubs provide members a means to learn about markets, while meeting and working with people who have similar interests.

Famous quotes containing the words investment and/or club:

There is something fascinating about science. One gets such wholesale returns of conjecture out of such a trifling investment of fact.
Mark Twain [Samuel Langhorne Clemens] (1835–1910)

In another year I’ll have enough money saved. Then I’m gonna go back to my hometown in Oregon and I’m gonna build a house for my mother and myself. And join the country club and take up golf. And I’ll meet the proper man with the proper position. And I’ll make a proper wife who can run a proper home and raise proper children. And I’ll be happy, because when you’re proper, you’re safe.
    Daniel Taradash (b. 1913)
