Inventure Academy

Inventure Academy is an International coeducational independent school located in Bangalore, India. Founded in 2005, the school is located in the outskirts of Bangalore on a campus of 25 acres. The school philosophy is about all-round development of the child and puts equal emphasis on education as well as extra-curricular activities. The teaching and learning that happens at Inventure stems from and ensures progressive thinking, while steadfastly promoting core values for life. Pedagogy at Inventure makes a radical departure from rote, book based, solely exam oriented learning and instead, embraces individuality, creativity, self-motivation and innovation amongst all its stakeholders. Such a holistic and progressive educational programme has attracted students from India and abroad, and a special niche of these are children from families of Indian origin in the UK or USA who have resettled in India.

The 800 students who currently study at Inventure have access to world-class infrastructure and facilities that provide the setting for an excellent academic programme as well as co-curricular and extra-curricular activities resulting in the well-rounded growth and development of the students there.

Sports and the arts are an integral part of the Inventure educational programme and students are further encouraged by the numerous opportunities that come their way. The sports facilities at the school include an obstacle course, game pitches and courts, a new swimming pool and a golf driving range. Every student is encouraged to specialize in one major and one minor sport. Similarly, regular ‘Tournaments of Minds’ in music, dance, drama, speech and art are held requiring student involvement in these areas.

The school adheres to the Theory of Multiple Intelligences put forward by Howard Gardner and the teaching is done through a variety of activities designed to help children acquire knowledge. Howard Gardner, himself had visited Inventure Academy on 21st January 2012.
