Development of Radio
In the late 19th century it was clear that wireless communication was possible. Theoretical and experimental innovations during this time period led to the development of radio communication systems as they exist today. Some early work was done by local effects and experiments of electromagnetic induction. It was learned that "ethereal telegraphy" and telegraphy by induction were distinct phenomena.
