Internet Safety Act

The Internet Safety Act and the Internet Stopping Adults Facilitating the Exploitation of Today's Youth Act are two United States bills requiring "a provider of an electronic communication service or remote computing service retain for a period of at least two years all records or other information pertaining to the identity of a user of a temporarily assigned network address the service assigns to that user."Also, this is to stop child pornography and meant to keep internet predators offline and in prison cells. Also, this is to make internet safety PS-As and to make internet safety a concern and to stop child and teen abduction. Also, this is to get children and teens to report issues on the internet to parents and internet officials rather, than to be afraid and to log off and be worried that they did something wrong. lwhite 12:49, 19 October 2012 (UTC)

Famous quotes containing the words safety and/or act:

... what a family is without a steward, a ship without a pilot, a flock without a shepherd, a body without a head, the same, I think, is a kingdom without the health and safety of a good monarch.
    Elizabeth I (1533–1603)

We all have—to put it as nicely as I can—our lower centres and our higher centres. Our lower centres act: they act with terrible power that sometimes destroys us; but they don’t talk.... Since the war the lower centres have become vocal. And the effect is that of an earthquake. For they speak truths that have never been spoken before—truths that the makers of our domestic institutions have tried to ignore.
    George Bernard Shaw (1856–1950)
