International Vietnamese Youth Conference

Len Duong International Vietnamese Youth Network organises multi-day International Vietnamese Youth Conferences every 2–3 years, drawing Vietnamese youths from around the world to gather and discuss topics relating to Vietnamese youths and to network with each other. These conferences draw anywhere from 200 to 600 attendees from more than 15 countries. The Vietnamese spelling of the conference is "Đại Hội Thanh Niên Sinh Viên Việt Nam Thế Giới," (World Vietnamese Student Youth Conference) and is therefore also abbreviated and nicknamed "DH" (conf.), followed by the conference number, such as "DH1" for the first conference, "DH2" for the second, and so on.

Famous quotes containing the words vietnamese, youth and/or conference:

    Follow me if I advance
    Kill me if I retreat
    Avenge me if I die.
    Mary Matalin, U.S. Republican political advisor, author, and James Carville b. 1946, U.S. Democratic political advisor, author. All’s Fair: Love, War, and Running for President, epigraph (from a Vietnamese battle cry)

    I loathe that I did love,
    In youth that I thought sweet;
    Thomas Vaux, 2d Baron Vaux Of Harrowden (1510–1566)

    Politics is still the man’s game. The women are allowed to do the chores, the dirty work, and now and then—but only occasionally—one is present at some secret conference or other. But it’s not the rule. They can go out and get the vote, if they can and will; they can collect money, they can be grateful for being permitted to work. But that is all.
    Mary Roberts Rinehart (1876–1958)
