• Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament: On October 3, upon the announcement that a test was imminent, the CND called on North Korea and other nuclear states to eliminate their nuclear weapons, declaring that all nuclear weapon states were irresponsible. Kate Hudson, Chair of the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, said: "There is no such thing as a 'responsible nuclear weapons state' as North Korea claims."
