International Debutante Ball

The International Debutante Ball is an invitation-only formal debutante ball to present young ladies to high society. It occurs every two years at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.

The International Debutante Ball, founded in 1954, is considered the most prestigious and the most exclusive debutante ball in the world. Young women from all over the United States and around the globe are brought together at the ball and the surrounding parties with daughters of Presidents of the United States, Diplomats, titled Europeans, Senators, Ambassadors and Governors. Over the years the ball has benefited numerous charities from the International Debutante Ball Foundation including the Soldiers’, Sailors’, Marines’, Coast Guard and Airmen’s Club of New York, which provides a home away from home for men and women of the United States Armed Services.

Famous quotes containing the word ball:

Any balance we achieve between adult and parental identities, between children’s and our own needs, works only for a time—because, as one father says, “It’s a new ball game just about every week.” So we are always in the process of learning to be parents.
