In the 2007 federal election the most popular party was the SVP which received 29.27% of the vote. The next three most popular parties were the SPS (21.3%), the FDP (18.72%) and the Green Party (11.62%). In the federal election, a total of 1,518 votes were cast, and the voter turnout was 43.4%.
