Paintkit, Paint Shop and Carshapes
You can also customize the way each of the cars look. Using the game’s built-in paint facility, you can replace some or all of the car designs that come with "IndyCar Racing" using paint jobs that you develop. Using this paint facility is only possible with the original carshape that the game came with. Other carshapes (for example the "CART2K" or the "Reynard" carsets) that were published used "more complicated" car textures and could only been edited in other paint programs.

Famous quotes containing the words paint and/or shop:
“We must learn the language of facts. The most wonderful inspirations die with their subject, if he has no hand to paint them to the senses.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)
“A generation which has passed through the shop has absorbed standards and ambitions which are not of those of spaciousness, and cannot get away from them. Everything with them is done as though for sale, and they naturally have in view the greatest possible benefit, profit and that end of the stuff that will make the best show.”
—Alexander Herzen (1812–1870)
