A few months prior to drupa 2012 Indigo unveiled their next-generation presses based on larger format: the new Indigo 10000 sheetfed B2 press for commercial market, and the Indigo 20000 and 30000 for the flexible packaging and folding cartons markets, respectively. The Indigo 10000 is expected to be launched commercially in early 2013.
From their current portfolio, the new announcements included the Indigo 5600, Indigo 7600 with "special effects" similar to embossing and thermography and the W7250, as well as the Indigo WS6600 Digital Press for labels & packaging (which was announced a few months earlier at Label Expo 2011.)
On the workflow side, Indigo made announcements on new finishing partnerships and strategies, and a new solution for site management.
