In Your Face (Fishbone Album)
In Your Face is Fishbone's first full length album released in 1986.
The album contains a mix of ska, reggae, soul, punk and funk, but very little of the hard rock and heavy metal sound the band would adopt in coming years. The original vinyl LP release had two alternate album covers on both sides showing the band members (three members each on one side), and a jumbled track listing (five on one side, six on the other). The covers also had tricky positions of how the album would look like. According to the band, the picture covers of the vinyl release "had no back and no top".
The band toured in support of this album by opening for the Beastie Boys on their Licensed to Ill tour.

Famous quotes containing the word face:
“The grief of the keen is no personal complaint for the death of one woman over eighty years, but seems to contain the whole passionate rage that lurks somewhere in every native of the island. In this cry of pain the inner consciousness of the people seems to lay itself bare for an instant, and to reveal the mood of beings who feel their isolation in the face of a universe that wars on them with winds and seas.”
