In Concert (Amy Grant Album)

In Concert (Amy Grant Album)

In Concert is the fourth album by Christian singer Amy Grant, released in 1981 on Myrrh Records.

In Concert was the first album of a double live set, the other being In Concert Volume Two, which was released later that year. Although the two should have been issued as a double album, budget problems forced the two to be released separately. In Concert featured two new songs: "Mimi's House" and "Singing a Love Song", the latter became a Top Ten Christian radio hit. It was re-released in 2007 by Sparrow Records.

The album was nominated for Grammy Award for Best Gospel Performance, Contemporary.

Famous quotes containing the words concert and/or grant:

Proportion ... You can’t help thinking about it in these London streets, where it doesn’t exist.... It’s like listening to a symphony of cats to walk along them. Senseless discords and a horrible disorder all the way.... A concert of Brobdingnagian cats. Order has been turned into a disgusting chaos. We need no barbarians from outside; they’re on the premises, all the time.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)

Let no guilty man escape, if it can be avoided.... No personal considerations should stand in the way of performing a duty.
    —Ulysses S. Grant (1822–1885)
