Illiana Expressway
The Illiana Corridor is a proposed transportation corridor between northern portions of the U.S. states of Illinois and Indiana. Formal Environmental Impact Statement studies were begun in April 2011 and are being led jointly by the Illinois Department of Transportation and Indiana Department of Transportation. It is expected to be approximately 50 miles (80 km) in length; 10 miles (16 km) in Indiana, and 40 miles (64 km) in Illinois.
As proposed in the current Tier 1 Environmental Impact Statement study, the corridor is expected to run from Interstate 55 in Illinois to Interstate 65 in Indiana.
