In 2010, he was elected inaugural Vice-President of the College of Medicine, an organisation set up to bring together patients and clincians on an equal footing. Several commenatators, writing in The Guardian and The British Medical Journal claim that this organisation is simply a re-branding of the Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health.
