Ian Gold
Ian Maurice Gold (born August 23, 1978) is a former American football linebacker of the National Football League turned author. He was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He played college football at Michigan.
A Pro Bowl selection for the Broncos in 2001, Gold played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2004 between stints in Denver. He was released following the 2007 season by the Denver Broncos. Although expected to be a "hot commodity" in Free Agency after his release, no significant interest materialized for Ian after his release which confirmed Bronco team rumors regarding his future.
