The song appeared on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1994, peaking at number 89, reached number 5 on the UK Singles Chart, was a number one hit in the Netherlands and was a number 8 hit on the U.S. Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart.
Since then, the song has become popular as the theme song of the Dreamworks Animation film series, Madagascar.
