Transport
Huyton is located just west of the M57 motorway which marks its border. Liverpool city centre is 6 miles (9.7 km) to the west via the M62 motorway. Huyton railway station, formerly called Huyton Gate railway station, is served by regular City Line services to and from Liverpool, St Helens, Wigan and further afield. Huyton bus station is situated in Huyton Hey Road, adjacent to the shopping centre and approximately 150 yards (140 m) from Huyton railway station.
