Howards Grove has a Varsity and Junior-Varsity Football program, as well as Varsity and JV programs in Boys and Girls Basketball, Co-ed Tennis, Track, Cross-Country, Girl's Volleyball, Boys Baseball, and Girl's Softball. They also have a Poms-Squad during Football and Basketball seasons, Boys Varsity Soccer, and Girls Varsity Soccer. The Cheerleading squad was not formed in the previous year due to a lack of interest among students.
