Personal Life

Webb is married to Kay, they have three children Holly, Jack and Lucy. Webb was a sergeant in the South Yorkshire Police. He was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2011 New Year Honours for services to football. Webb has been commended for his work in football officiating for being the first man to referee the Champions League final and World Cup final in the same year. In June 2011 Webb was made President of the Baris Northern Counties East Football League, a league where he had once officiated on. In July 2011 he received an Honorary Doctor of Science degree from the University of Bedfordshire. In November 2011, Webb also gained a Honorary Degree from York St John University as a Doctor of Health Sciences.

Webb is a Rotherham United supporter.
