Hoppers Crossing Secondary College - Sister School Partnership

Sister School Partnership

Since 2007 Hoppers Crossing Secondary College has shared a very special relationship with Estancia High School, located in the city of Costa Mesa, Orange County, California. Each year a group of students from Hoppers Crossing have the opportunity to visit Estancia High school for approximately 3 weeks.

Whilst there the students are immersed into the culture of the school and its community. They attend some classes, visit other secondary and primary schools, give presentations to different groups in the community on life in Wyndham and at HCSC. The students also visit some of the finest attractions that Southern California has to offer including Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood and the OC.

The relationship came about due to the sister city relationship that the City of Wyndham shares with the City of Costa Mesa.

In July of each year, students and educators from Estancia HS visit Hoppers Crossing SC for 3 weeks.

On the website you will find various photos of students from HCSC who have visited Estancia HS over the last 4 years.

Famous quotes containing the words sister, school and/or partnership:

Whether, if you yield not to your father’s choice,
You can endure the livery of a nun,
For aye to be in shady cloister mewed,
To live a barren sister all your life,
Chanting faint hymns to the cold fruitless moon.
Thrice blessed they that master so their blood
    To undergo such maiden pilgrimage.
    William Shakespeare (1564–1616)

But there are advantages to being elected President. The day after I was elected, I had my high school grades classified Top Secret.
    Ronald Reagan (b. 1911)

Are we bereft of citizenship because we are mothers, wives and daughters of a mighty people? Have women no country—no interests staked in public weal—no liabilities in common peril—no partnership in a nation’s guilt and shame?
    Angelina Grimké (1805–1879)
