Drag out to their last dregs and I resume

As I can manage, remember to go home,
My taste will not have turned insensitive
To honey and bread old purity could love.”

—Washington Irving (17831859)
“The South is very beautiful but its beauty makes one sad because the lives that people live here, and have lived here, are so ugly.”
