Homosexual recruitment and similar terms are used to describe alleged efforts by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) people to convert otherwise heterosexual youths into "the gay lifestyle." Allegations of 'recruitment' have been directed at HIV prevention efforts, anti-bullying legislation, anti-discrimination laws, discussions of LGBT rights and issues in schools, feminism, and gay-straight alliance programs.
