Home For Christmas (Danity Kane Song)

"Home for Christmas" is a Christmas song by the Bad Boy Records girl group Danity Kane. The song was written by group member Dawn Richard. This song was promoted at a few of their concerts. They recorded this song immediately after finishing their first self-titled album. By Christmas of 2006, the song was the #6 top download on iTunes. There were rumors that the label wanted to shoot a video for this that would be like "Ride for You" Part II, but there was never time made in scheduling.

Famous quotes containing the words home, christmas and/or kane:

In another year I’ll have enough money saved. Then I’m gonna go back to my hometown in Oregon and I’m gonna build a house for my mother and myself. And join the country club and take up golf. And I’ll meet the proper man with the proper position. And I’ll make a proper wife who can run a proper home and raise proper children. And I’ll be happy, because when you’re proper, you’re safe.
    Daniel Taradash (b. 1913)

    The ninth day of Christmas,
My true love sent to me
    Nine drummers drumming,
—Unknown. The Twelve Days of Christmas (l. 53–55)

Where is the “unexplored land” but in our own untried enterprises? To an adventurous spirit any place—London, New York, Worcester, or his own yard—is “unexplored land,” to seek which Frémont and Kane travel so far. To a sluggish and defeated spirit even the Great Basin and the Polaris are trivial places.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
