Future Games
A deal has been worked out to play the game in 2013 and 2016, but the game will not be played in 2014 and 2015. 2014–2015 will be the first interruption in the series since 1943 to 1945, when BYU did not field a team due to World War II. Pointing to Utah's 9 game PAC-12 conference schedule and a home and home series with the Michigan Wolverines in 2014 and 2015, Utah's athletic director Chris Hill cited concerns about "over-scheduling" as the primary reason for the two year Holy War intermission. No games are currently scheduled after 2016.

Famous quotes containing the words future and/or games:
“When we raise our children, we relive our childhood. Forgotten memories, painful and pleasurable, rise to the surface.... So each of us thinks, almost daily, of how our own childhood compares with our childrens, and of what our childrens future will hold.”
—Richard Louv (20th century)
“In 1600 the specialization of games and pastimes did not extend beyond infancy; after the age of three or four it decreased and disappeared. From then on the child played the same games as the adult, either with other children or with adults. . . . Conversely, adults used to play games which today only children play.”
—Philippe Ariés (20th century)
