Holly Sampson - Early Life

Early Life

Sampson was born in Prescott, Arizona. As a teenager, she had mainstream acting roles, appearing as Fred Savage's love interest in the Wonder Years episode "The Summer Song" (1989), and one episode each of My Two Dads, Beauty and the Beast and Matlock, as well as the film Pump Up The Volume. She starred in Other Men's Wives (1996) and had a minor part in the 1998 TV movie Gia.

Sampson has continued to have infrequent mainstream roles, most notably playing a teacher in teen comedy Pretty Cool (2001).

Famous quotes containing the words early and/or life:

“Never hug and kiss your children! Mother love may make your children’s infancy unhappy and prevent them from pursuing a career or getting married!” That’s total hogwash, of course. But it shows on extreme example of what state-of-the-art “scientific” parenting was supposed to be in early twentieth-century America. After all, that was the heyday of efficiency experts, time-and-motion studies, and the like.
    Lawrence Kutner (20th century)

In soliciting donations from his flock, a preacher may promise eternal life in a celestial city whose streets are paved with gold, and that’s none of the law’s business. But if he promises an annual free stay in a luxury hotel on Earth, he’d better have the rooms available.
