A holiday village (also abbreviated HV) is a park, that is developed as a holiday resort in which the visitors stay in villas. There is a central area with shops, entertainment and other amenities. One of the most well known chains of holiday villages is Center Parcs.
A holiday village is also a system of club hotels. The territory of the hotel is rather big, but the territory of the main building is small. A holiday village consists of the main building, as well many houses to live in. There are many houses where tourists can live during their vacation.
