Holiday Mansion - Power

Power

Most models came equipped with single or dual gas engines with outdrives. Diesel options were rarely seen. Fuel tankage was a respectable 100–300 U.S. gallons (380–1140 liters) set in two tanks on opposite sides of the engine compartment. Crusader, Mercruiser, and Volvo engines were available with power ranging from 200–450 hp (150–335 kW). After market engines and drives make their way into some Holiday Mansions along with various stern and bow thrusters to aid maneuvering.

Famous quotes containing the word power:

Will power is only the tensile strength of one’s own disposition. One cannot increase it by a single ounce.
    Cesare Pavese (1908–1950)

The most advanced nations are always those who navigate the most. The power which the sea requires in the sailor makes a man of him very fast, and the change of shores and population clears his head of much nonsense of his wigwam.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

Power corrupts ... when the weak band together in order to ruin the strong, but not before. The will to power ... far from being a characteristic of the strong, is, like envy and greed, among the vices of the weak, and possibly even their most dangerous one.
    Hannah Arendt (1906–1975)
