HMAS Melbourne (1912)

HMAS Melbourne was a Town class light cruiser operated by the Royal Australian Navy (RAN). Commissioned in 1913, the cruiser served during World War I. She served as Flagship of the Australian Squadron from 1922 until 1928. She was then paid off and in 1929 was broken up for scrap.
