HLAH - Are Ya Gonna Kiss IT or Shoot IT

Are Ya Gonna Kiss It or Shoot It

Around this time (1997–98) some confusion over the bands name was created by a record company rep accidentally releasing a statement saying the band had changed their name to HLAH. This was not actually the case as Head Like a Hole had been using the abbreviation HLAH for many years. Famous quotes containing the words shoot it, gonna, kiss and/or shoot:

One of the few things I know about writing is this: spend it all, shoot it, play it, lose it, all, right away, every time. Do not hoard what seems good for a later place in the book, or for another book; give it, give it all, give it now.
    Annie Dillard (b. 1945)

You can say anything you want, ‘cause I’ve heard it all before. All you can do is pray for a quick death ... which you ain’t gonna get.
Quentin Tarantino, U.S. screenwriter and director. Mr. Blonde (Michael Madsen)

For if he meets another cat he will kiss her in kindness.
For when he takes his prey he plays with it to give it chance.
    Christopher Smart (1722–1771)

McCoy: That shark’s been following us ever since the surgeon died, waiting for the burial. Couldn’t I have a musket to shoot it, sir?
Fletcher Christian: Take the deck, McCoy. I’ll get the keys to the arms chest.
McCoy: Get two muskets, sir. I’d like to shoot that shark on board.
    Talbot Jennings (1896–1985)
