• The only band on the album to cover a song, and have one of their own songs covered is Deftones. They covered "Simple Man", by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Fightstar covered their song "My Own Summer (Shove It)".
• Killswitch Engage released a video for their version of "Holy Diver" on August 1, 2007. The song is also on the re-release of their fourth album As Daylight Dies.
• Start Today, covered by "Fall Out Boy" was featured in Tony Hawk's American Wasteland.
• NOFX's cover of Straight Edge was originally released on their 1992 album "White Trash, Two Heebs and a Bean"
• A year after this was released, Kerrang! released another covermount CD similar to this one, Higher Voltage!: Another Brief History of Rock.
• Atreyu's cover of "You Give Love a Bad Name" was a bonus track on their album The Curse
