High School Musical 3: Senior Year - Spin-off/Unaired Spin Off Show/Possible Reunion Movie

Spin-off/Unaired Spin Off Show/Possible Reunion Movie

A spin-off to the High School Musical series, called Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure, was released on DVD on April 19, 2011, with the TV premiere on Disney Channel shortly afterward. Sharpay travels to New York City to make her dreams of being on Broadway come true. However, things start to go wrong when she finds out that the producers want only her dog for the show. The film is set after the graduation of the original cast. Ryan also makes a special cameo in the film, stating that he is currently on a musical tour; not in Juilliard, as hinted in Senior Year.

It also had a spin-off Pilot/Show called Madison High, but Madison High was not picked up.

While there has been no official word on a reunion movie, Zac Efron stated in an interview with showbiz spy in March 2012 that he is open to a reunion. He stated "I can’t say for sure if it will happen but deep down in my heart, I would jump at the chance". He then went on to say that he is "pretty sure" the rest of the cast, including Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale would be open for a reunion movie too. The possibility of a reunion movie was furthered in January 2013 when Vanessa Hudgens stated in a red carpet interview with OK! Magazine that she is also open to a reunion movie. She was quoted as saying "I mean, that would be awesome. I love those guys so much. Those were a few of the most fondest memories of my life. It was amazing! I love musicals, I wouldn't mind doing another one".
