Herschel 400 Objects Which Are Also Messier Objects
The Herschel 400 contains a few objects which are currently considered to be part of the Messier catalogue. For example Messier never published M104 to M110 in his lifetime they were added in the 20th century, an explanation as to why this is appears below:
