Heritage Institute of Technology is built on the Heritage campus, located at Anandapur on the south-eastern fringes of Kolkata. Along with HITK, the campus also encompasses The Heritage School, Kolkata and The Heritage Academy, Kolkata. It is a 10-minute drive away from East Metropolitan Bypass (near Ruby Hospital, about 2 km away). The nearest airport is Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport at Dum Dum, Kolkata.
The institute has two main buildings - thec ICT building which houses the Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering departments while the CME building houses the Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering departments. HITK has a bank operated by Punjab National Bank on its campus. HITK offers internet connectivity at its browsing center, with copier facilities on campus. The Central Library has more than 43,000 textbooks and reference books.
