Hello CD of The Month Club - Release History

Release History

Hello produced thirty-nine EPs over four years, as well as two promotional samplers, a promotional copy of a full-length Mono Puff album, and one compilation of original material by various artists. Hello also issued a live sampler from They Might Be Giants, and reissued their 1985 Demo Tape on cassette.

Hello EPs were assigned catalogue numbers based on their dates of release. The prefix "hel-" was used, followed by the last digit of the year of release, and then the number of the month of release. For example, the Nelories EP had the catalogue hel-34, as it was released in April (the fourth month of the year) of 1993. Special releases had different catalogue numbers (the 1985 Demo Tape, for instance, was hel-t).

Famous quotes containing the words release and/or history:

If I were to be taken hostage, I would not plead for release nor would I want my government to be blackmailed. I think certain government officials, industrialists and celebrated persons should make it clear they are prepared to be sacrificed if taken hostage. If that were done, what gain would there be for terrorists in taking hostages?
    Margaret Mead (1901–1978)

The history of any nation follows an undulatory course. In the trough of the wave we find more or less complete anarchy; but the crest is not more or less complete Utopia, but only, at best, a tolerably humane, partially free and fairly just society that invariably carries within itself the seeds of its own decadence.
    Aldous Huxley (1894–1963)
