Heat Radio - Studios

Studios

From its launch in 2003 broadcasting came from London, where it was located alongside the sister magazine, but moved to Bauer Radio's headquarters in Manchester in April 2009, as part of a cost-cutting programme, to be based alongside its sister radio stations Key 103 and The Hits Radio where music and entertainment news output is sourced.

Some of Heat Radio's presenters voice-track their programmes from Bauer Place stations across the UK, for example weekday breakfast presenter Dan Black is based at Metro Radio in Newcastle upon Tyne, while others host their shows live from Manchester, like weekday afternoons presenter Sarah Powell. Heat Radio also retains a studio in London for Heat Magazine's Lucie Cave and celebrity guests.

Recently the station has been appearing more in heat magazine, with regular adverts, shared content and joint campaigns like a recent promotion with Channel 4's Hollyoaks, and ITV2's The Only Way Is Essex.
