Harrisburg Stampede - Ownership

Ownership

The Harrisburg Stampede's founding ownership group consisted of John Morris, co-founder and former owner of the AIFA. Marques Colston also previously held a share in the team in the first season.

In January 2012 team owner John Morris sold the team to local businessman Justin Coble, who has moved quickly to broaden the fan base and re-energize the city of Harrisburg and the Stampede team; Colston returned to the team's ownership group at the same time. In February 2012 new owner Justin Coble has started and created many new fan friendly events and brought in many new sponsors to go along with attracting some of the top arena talent in the country.

As of August 2012 Marques Colston's Dynasty Group acquired full control from Mr. Coble and will continue to grow the footprint of the Stampede as well as servicing the community and the greater Harrisburg area.

Famous quotes containing the word ownership:

They had their fortunes to make, everything to gain and nothing to lose. They were schooled in and anxious for debates; forcible in argument; reckless and brilliant. For them it was but a short and natural step from swaying juries in courtroom battles over the ownership of land to swaying constituents in contests for office. For the lawyer, oratory was the escalator that could lift a political candidate to higher ground.
—Federal Writers’ Project Of The Wor, U.S. public relief program (1935-1943)
